An Irish Wedding Dream Becomes a Reality

Ariana & Matt Wedding - Stretch Tent in Ballintoy

There are many stretch marquees companies in Ireland that thought we were crazy to take on a wedding of this magnitude on such short notice, but we at Tentickle Stretch Tents have always had a “thing” for achieving the impossible. Which is exactly why we jumped at the opportunity to help this young American couple to host what is in our opinion one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies that we’ve ever helped to create. Let us set the scene for you and help you discover for yourself just how amazing this wedding actually was…

The Wedding Request

Matt and Ariana had a dream to host their wedding on the North Coast Clifftop at Ballintoy, Co. Antrim, a beautiful part of Ireland that is renowned for its spectacular vistas and amazing scenery. The catch however was that it had to be set-up from scratch with only 24 hours’ notice, as they had only decided on the location (at Dunseverick Castle) the day before.

The Bridal Couple

The bridal couple hailed from Philadelphia in the USA, but the groom Matt was originally from Ireland and moved away with his parents when he was 6. Ariana was of Greek descent and brought with her a sense of history and vision that was going to help create an unforgettable dream wedding.

The Setup

A venue such as this needed something extraordinary to accompany it and we suggested a 16.5m x 15m White Durastretch Canopy with 3 sides down. Matt and Ariana agreed and our team worked their magic and in conjunction with Grace & Saviour Wedding Stylist, Design and Hire Studio we set up what was later to be referred to as one of the most perfect wedding tents ever seen.

The Big Day

Ariana and Matt’s fathers were both pastors and brought a sense of family and spiritual peace to the event as they officiated the wedding held on what can only be described as a perfect day for a wedding. The photos below speak louder than any words ever will, and show just how infectious the love of these two amazing people was for all involved. The ceremony, the setting and the people all combined to change everyone who experienced it, while also helping to set a benchmark for what we at Tentickle Stretch Marquees believe is possibly one of the best weddings that we have ever helped to host.
